Credit Cards

How do I know if my credit card number is safe on your site?
CompanyClock, a Tranquility Base, Inc. Company, encrypts all credit cards in the database so that no person can see the card numbers without the decryption key, which is not stored on the server. This means that no hacker or employee of Tranquility Base, Inc., can see your account number.

What if I made a mistake entering my credit card number?
The CompanyClock, a Tranquility Base, Inc. Company, fraud protection software will not let you transmit your order if the credit card number you register with us, does not completely match the numbers on your card. You cannot make changes to a card you already have registered with us. All IP addresses are stored at the time of purchase.

Why was my credit card transaction denied?
There are multiple reasons for a transaction to be denied at CompanyClock. Since address information and credit card information are compared when making an order, any differences in these two pieces of information will result in a denied transaction. Additionally, if you click the order button more than once in a short period of time, the server interprets this as a fraudulent exception error. In this case, you will have to wait 1 hour before being able to order again, or you will have to use another credit card.

Which address should I use on credit cards or my checking account?
Please make sure that the mailing address you register with us is exactly the same as the one your credit card and bank account statement are mailed to. We send this information to our fraud protection company, so this address must exactly match the mailing address for your statements in order for the order to be process successfully, otherwise, the transaction will be rejected.

What is the CVV2 number on my Visa or MasterCard?
The Customer Card ID Number (CID or CVV2) is a three digit number that is unique to each credit card. This security feature is designed to protect you by helping to ensure the card is present during the purchase. It is printed only on the card, never on any receipts or statements. On a VISA or Mastercard credit card, the CVV2 three-digit value is printed on the signature panel on the back immediately following the Visa or Mastercard account number.

How old do I have to be to make a purchase on CompanyClock?
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase at Company Clock.

When will I see the charge in my bank account?
Credit card charges are batched at the end of each night, including weekends. Based on your bank or credit card provider, your charges should show up in your account within one to three days.

I paid once, why did you charge me again?

How do I change my email address?
In order to change your email please send an email to tech@companyclock.com or email our customer service from your internal email account including the new details. Please remember that once your email changes your login username changes as well and to use your new email to log in.

I can't login. Why?
CompanyClock, a Tranquility Base, Inc. Company, server can be busy due to heavy traffic on our servers. If this happens try to reload the page by clicking the refresh button on your browser. Please make sure that you use the correct username (your email address) and your password. Use the password retrieval feature if you have forgotten your password. If you still experience problems please contact our customer service at or call 1-866-900-AWSP (2977) during normal business hours.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?
You can recover your CompanyClock password by selecting the “Forgot Password?” link on the homepage. Your password will be sent to your registered email address straight away.

Can I change my password?
You can change your password to your CompanyClock, account by calling the Tranquility Base, Inc office. You will have to answer a series of security questions in order to have your password changed.

How do I terminate my account?
Please send us an email and your automatic billing will be terminated. Your access to CompanyClock will also be terminated.

How do I unsubscribe from your email notifications?
Every email you receive includes an “unsubscribe” link, click on that link in order to unsubscribe for that specific email notification.

Can I register for free?
You can not register for free at CompanyClock. Access to CompanyClock requires successful payment for a license with either a Visa or Mastercard credit card.

How do I create a new account?
In order to create a new account, please go to the “Pricing” page () to select which product you need. Click the “Place Order” button to go to the payment page (http://www.companyclock.com/companyclock/CAdmin/Payments.aspx) to enter your payment method and registration information. Click the “Submit” button to process your order. If you transaction is successful, you will be sent an email with your access information. This email will arive within 3 minutes of processing your order.

Internal Email

What is the new internal email option that appears into my account section?
The internal email service internal to your account allows you to keep in touch with us 100% of the time. It is like your regular Outlook Express email but it is internal to your account. By clicking on email you can review all email messages from us anytime anywhere.
You can also send us emails and inquires 24/7. It is easy! Login into your account to review all email messages from us anytime.

How can I use the email that appears in my account?
The email component allows you to send inquiries to our customer service department 24 hours a day. The inbox also contains all the messages that are sent to your regular email and that may have been lost or ended up in wrong folders.

How can I receive and send emails from my CompanyClock, a Tranquility Base, Inc. Company, account?
In order to open your email box, click on the “inbox” link. All the messages you received will appear in that section. If you have new messages a “you have new email” icon will appear once you logged into your account. In order to send an email to our customer service department simply click on the “compose” link, enter a subject line for your message, compose your message and click “send”.

Our site is not fully compatible with the AOL browser. In order to use our services, follow this EASY workaround:

Logon to AOL
Click on the start menu in the bottom left of your screen
Select “All Programs” from the start menu
Select Internet Explorer (this is the one with a blue “e” icon)
Type in www.lotteryuniverse.com
Login and then order our services.
Any time you use our site, please use this method as the AOL browser will not function properly.

To receive our emails, please add the following two email addresses to your AOL address book: or you can look at your internal CompanyClock, a Tranquility Base, Inc. Company, email service that appears into your account.

Where can I use CompanyClock?
As an adminstrator, you can access the Company Administrator interface from any computer with an internet browser. You can also access reports via your PDA or Smartphone. Employees do not have access to any part of the adminstrative side of CompanyClock. Employees can only use the time clock to “Clock-in” and “Clock-out.”

Can an employee clock-in from a mobile device?
No. Employees must use the application that can only be on a full Windows operating system. Only the company adminstrators have the ability to create and view reports via PDA or Smartphone.

Why do you have to download a file?
By using a downloadable application instead of a web based interface, we provided added levels of security and fraud prevention by employees by forcing employees to always login from the same computer. Web interfaces can not enforce this, only an application can.

I keep getting a message from my firewall or pop-up software that your application is trying to access the internet?
If you are using a firewall program, you must ALLOW the Company Clock application through the firewall. Failure to do so will not allow Company Clock to work properly.

How does CompanyClock work?
Employees can Clock-in and Clock-out via a secure application that is loaded on their desktop. Each application is tied to that individual computer and once registered on our server by the company administrator, can not be used on another computer. All administrative reports can be run from any internet enabled computer. Company Clock also provides mobile access via PDA or Smartphone to reports as an additional service.

Yes, Company Clock is the ideal solution for remote and home office workers. All that is required is a connection to the internet.

Is any special software required to run CompanyClock?
The Microsoft .Net Framework v2.0 is required. Please follow the provided instructions to either download .Net Framework v2.0, or to determine if your system already has .Net Framework v2.0.

How do I tell if I have the .Microsoft Net Framework v1.1 or v2.0?
Click on the link below to load .Net Framework v2.0. If it does not load, you will be told it is already installed on your system. Alternatively, if you are using Internet Explorer, in your internet browser, from the top menu select Tools >> Windows Update. When the web page appears, under the “Options” heading, select “Review Your Update History”. Scroll through the pages and look for the updates. Version 2.0 will come after the date of Version 1.1.

Security

What do I do if I accidentally double my order by clicking the order button twice?
Please send e a copy of both receipts to CompanyClock, a Tranquility Base, Inc. Company, customer service at If you suspect that your credit card has been double charged for our service, please fax an original copy of the bank statement showing the double charge (Fax + 1-713-339-9537). We will refund your money for one of the orders. You will receive a confirmation of the refund by email.

All of the transactions at CompanyClock are encrypted using a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption from GeoTrust.

How can I prevent employees from logging in at home or a different computer?
How can I prevent employees from logging in at home or a different computer?
By using a downloadable application instead of a web based interface we force employees to always login from the same computer. Web interfaces can not enforce this, only an application can. With a web interface, employees can located embedded files that are deposited on their computer by searching for the “last modified” option in the search window. By deleting this file, it allows employees to login from any computer at any time, which defeats the purpose of having a single location time clock.

The application registers the individual computer, and transmits Clock-in and Clock-out data.

Can I also give my assistant or another administrator access?
Yes. The company administrator may assign additional administrators to the account. The company administrator has the ability to assign, modify and delete permissions from any web browser at any time. Do not share your administration password with anyone.

Why not just have a web interface?
It is impossible to prevent fraudulent Clock-in's and Clock-out's with a web interface. If an employee knows what they are doing, they can easily search for any security file that would be embedded in the file system on that computer and delete it. This would allow the employee to Clock-in from any computer at any time. The Company Clock system prevents this from happening.

Can I give an employee more than one security key?
While it is allowed, in order to eliminate the potential, we recommend against it. Each security key is tied to an individual computer and can not be used on a different computer once the initial computer has been registered in our system.

What is the security key and why do I need it?
The security key is an essential part of the Company Clock system to prevent unauthorized “Clock-in” or “Clock-out” from an unknown location or a person other than the employee that has been specified. Security key's are tied to individual computers. Each key will only work on one computer. We are relying that employees do not share passwords. If you suspect that an employee is committing fraudulent behaviour, we have the ability to change the employees password.
